First up I'd like to thank everyone who has participated with the Symposium event and a special thank you goes out to Vivianne and Greenport Store for sponsoring the event. A lot of this is hybrid since we had to design something versatile enough to deal with COVID-19 and the way it’s impacted society.

Creative Community + Productive Vibes

With our membership growing, we will be able to do more for our community like bringing in gurus to host workshops, putting up book shows more often, creating art installations, and sponsoring members’ showings. Our goal is for members not to have to worry about the payment because we will have our own space where our artists can come in, work, and exhibit.

The end of Phase 2

We are coming to the end of Phase 2 and have learned a lot while launching Symposium. Some highlights include getting metrics on what works and being able to present a prototype for our merchandising line, thus maturing our merchandising strategy.

I have been writing down ways to streamline the next event; this includes eliminating Patreon and bringing shops to CreativeUTO. We are also hosting an orientation session where we gather all the artists in one space to walk them through and set the tone. The first session is set for January 28th at 7 pm. Location TBD

We are looking for our $2,000 Cover Artist

We also have plans to make the purse bigger than the last one at $2,000 for the Cover Artist and $500 for the Featured Artists. We are also rewarding the artists who get the most views on our website as the artist of the month; they will receive $100

In this phase we're going to work towards a prototype for our first book; Radical Dreams of Kindness & Equity, and here are the artists who made it.
